prosecuting freedom

i seriously doubt that the best interests of this nation are being served by a president, an administration, and a government that thinks that it is "disgraceful" for a citizen, a group, or a newspaper to question their policy...

it is actually our right and duty to question their policy. it is part of what makes us good citizens, to review, speak about, and at times criticize. it is something that the founders of this country worried about most - that we would become complacent, and allow our own government to trample us...

sad and disgraceful for this current flock to wave the flag, and beat the drum, and expect us to shut our mouths, and march in step...

working for them, will you keep telling yourself that "you are just doing your job"?

how far will they go? how far will you? when your time is up, will you ask for forgiveness? will your grandchildren work off your debt to the world?

well?

stats on millionaires - yawn.

i wonder what the stats show for the number of people slipping into poverty?
assuming a 6.5% rise in millionaires, extrapolated to the percentage of millionaires vs. povertaires?
the divide widens...

Reuters, i think

can't remember when was the last time that i actually wrote anything here...
;)
i can always go look, but it's been quite some time, and sadly, there is absolutely no reason why i haven't. work is the same, kids are the same, fav coffeeshop is still closed, other coffeeshop is still open, sexlife is still sporadic...

well, maybe it's the ps2.
that's new.
:)

oh, and the worldcup is on.

excuses, keep'em coming!
