hoy hoyz!

so, i've been piratical too much lately - i know.
internet addiction, my friend... ahhh dikkk shun!

my name's tee, and i'm an internet addict.

that's how it goes, and that's how it will go.
i'm not stopping... i haven't put on 30 pounds, and i still go to work, and i don't think i've lost anything yet, except maybe some short-term memory. but that can be accomplished in so many ways these days that i'm just not too concerned about it.

being a pirate is good clean fun.
and i'm saving money.
but i don't post.
not so much.

which is ok.
i think.
okay?

grok this...

grok

/grok/, var. /grohk/ vt. [from the novel "Stranger in a
Strange Land", by Robert A. Heinlein, where it is a Martian word
meaning literally `to drink' and metaphorically `to be one with']
The emphatic form is `grok in fullness'. 1. To understand, usually
in a global sense. Connotes intimate and exhaustive knowledge.
Contrast zen, which is similar supernal understanding experienced
as a single brief flash. See also glark. 2. Used of programs,
may connote merely sufficient understanding. "Almost all C
compilers grok the `void' type these days."

an enigma? (harmless not quirky)

I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.
